Grants for scholars to attend the Palma de Mallorca Conference of ICHRPI/CIHAE2016
Applications are invited for grants available to support younger scholars without permanent employment or other adequate financial subsidy to attend this conference on 7-9 September 2016.
The awards will consist of the conference fee, one year’s subscription to the ICHRPI (which entitles members to a free copy of its journal Parliaments, Estates & Representation), and a contribution towards travel and hotel costs.

gmail.com) not later than 1 May 2016.
Applicants should include
- an outline of their reasons for attending the conference
- their academic curriculum vitae
- estimates of expected costs with supporting documents for fares and accommodation
- details of any other applications for funds and the results thereof
- two confidential supporting letters sent directly by senior scholars.
The decision of the selection panel will be final.
Applicants are encouraged to submit a paper for consideration by the conference organizers and to offer it for publication either in any volume arising from the conference or in Parliaments, Estates & Representation.
